Mercedes-Benz A-Class will make electric vehicles

Mercedes-Benz A-Class



Of Daimler AG will present at the Paris Motor Show in September, production version of electric vehicle based on the compact Mercedes-Benz A-Class. As the press service of the German automakers, electric trolley called E-Cell is equipped with a lithium-ion battery developed by American company Tesla.

40-kilowatt electric motor that develops 290 N • m of torque, spends energy reserves sufficient economically and allows Forklift drive up to 200 kilometers. Early next year, Mercedes-Benz plans to release a limited edition of 500 A-Class E-Cell, which will be sent on long-term tests in various countries of Europe. In Germany, they will join a fleet of cars with alternative energy sources, which are involved in a project organized by Daimler E-mobility.

Electric vehicle is a need of the hour and there should be more and more manufacturers wanting to make electric cars to stop pollution of the air.The dirty fumes that arise from the fuels of the car kill so many every day.
